Experience The Difference With Our Premium Tops, Bottoms, Hi Vis & PPE Workwear

Like the tradie workforce, Bisley workwear has built its reputation on durability and reliability, and has become a market leader by making weather resistant garments that stand the test of time.

Proven to exceed stringent Australian and New Zealand safety standards, Australia-owned Bisley workwear offers tradies confidence in their clothing, while its innovative designs and considered use of materials also provide comfort and functionality during a long working day.

To be sure you are suitably sized, the Bisley size chart offers an extensive rundown of measurements and explains the three types of fits for Bisley wear.

Bisley Workwear - Trusted Across Australian Trade Industries

The Bisley brand goes all the way back to 1955 in Sydney, where its headquarters is still located. And while the business has expanded to 35 countries, it remains very much an Australian brand at heart, with Bisley workwear long trusted by the Australian workforce for its dependability, comfort and value.

From flame resistant PPE through to its breathable cotton chambray shirts, Bisley workwear has been designed with Australia’s tradies - and their daily roles and workplace environments. From the steelworks to the office, the coalface to the streets, Bisley work clothes offer hardwearing, durable and reliable apparel for every tradie woman and man across Australia and beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Most of Bisley's manufacturing supply partners are in China, with others in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Vietnam, the USA, Pakistan, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Taiwan and Sri Lanka. It is Bisley's policy that its overseas Tier 1 factories are audited as part of the onboarding process.

Australian suppliers handle a lot of the finishing work, adding reflective tape, embroidery, screen print and heat sealed customer logos, and Bisley sources a range of protective sprays from an Australian supplier.

No, and that is worth knowing before you shop from it. This page gathers the whole Bisley range together, so everyday drill work clothes, high visibility styles and garments built for specific hazards all sit side by side, and a rating that applies to one style tells you nothing about the one next to it.

A rating belongs to an individual garment and the fabric it is made from, so the specification on that product's own page and on its sewn-in label is the only place it can be confirmed. What you need in the first place is decided where you work, by the risk assessment behind your site's PPE rules, which is drawn up against the hazards of that particular job.

Start with the care label on the garment, because it is specific to that fabric. Beyond that the routine is much the same across the range: empty the pockets, undo the buttons, close the zips, flatten out the collar and cuffs, turn the garment inside out, and wash hi vis on its own rather than in with the rest of the load. Keep it out of the dryer and dry it in the shade, since heat and direct sun are hard on fluorescent fabric and reflective tape both.

Store gear somewhere cool and dry and away from fuels and solvents, and give anything protective a proper look over before you put it on. A worn or torn section stops doing its job while the rest of the garment still looks fine, so damage is worth checking for deliberately rather than noticing eventually.
