A rating belongs to an individual garment and the fabric it is made from, so the specification on that product's own page and on its sewn-in label is the only place it can be confirmed. What you need in the first place is decided where you work, by the risk assessment behind your site's PPE rules, which is drawn up against the hazards of that particular job.

Start with the care label on the garment, because it is specific to that fabric. Beyond that the routine is much the same across the range: empty the pockets, undo the buttons, close the zips, flatten out the collar and cuffs, turn the garment inside out, and wash hi vis on its own rather than in with the rest of the load. Keep it out of the dryer and dry it in the shade, since heat and direct sun are hard on fluorescent fabric and reflective tape both.

Store gear somewhere cool and dry and away from fuels and solvents, and give anything protective a proper look over before you put it on. A worn or torn section stops doing its job while the rest of the garment still looks fine, so damage is worth checking for deliberately rather than noticing eventually.
